After two years of challenging environment where GDP accumulated contraction reached 7.4%, the forecast for 2017 is only slightly better, with a weak 0.4%. With the ongoing Car Wash Operation, payment behaviour will not show signs of improvements: in 2015, 75% of the companies Coface interviewed had requests for payment extensions; in 2016, 46% of the companies declared that the situation deteriorated, and another 46% that it stayed the same.
