Despite some encouraging signs, it seems as though the tranquility of the economic situation should not last long. Not only did the U.S. and China get downgraded respectively to A2 and B, but insolvencies are striking them both, along with a diminution in investments for one and exorbitant debt for the other. The only cloud on the horizon that isn’t black is floating over Europe. With the upgrade of France and Italy and a reduction of insolvencies, its near future is looking a bit brighter.
