Debt Collection - The 2018 Global Ranking

If Sweden, Germany and Ireland are the easiest countries where to collect a debt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Malaysia are ranking at the very bottom, according to this research. International debt collection is three times more complex in Saudi Arabia than in Sweden. The fact is that pockets of collection complexity exist in all countries, whether it be local payment practices or court- and insolvency-related complexities. On average, the study finds that half of the collection complexity comes from the insolvency proceedings.
