The recovery of this insolvency cycle in advanced markets has come to an end. In line with easing global GDP growth momentum, insolvencies are expected to increase 1%.
Western Europe is leading the increase in bankruptcies (+2%), with the UK and Italy experiencing the most difficult business conditions.
More stable outlooks for both North America (0%) and Asia-Pacific (+1%) are both subject to downside risks largely stemming from trade uncertainty and a more difficult external environment.
