Entreprises en France : moins de défaillances, mais toujours autant de “zombies”

Le nombre de défaillances d’entreprises en France est toujours en recul : -8,3% sur un an à fin janvier, une performance possible grâce au secteur de la construction, qui contribue pour moitié à la diminution totale constatée. Le nombre de défaillances devrait continuer de baisser sur l’ensemble de l’année, avec un recul prévu de 3,6% en 2018. Cette année représentera cependant un point d’inflexion, l’économie française atteignant son haut de cycle, à l’instar des hautes économies avancées. Le taux de défaillance, malgré son niveau historiquement bas, doit être nuancé : la part d’entreprises dites “zombies” a progressé ces dernières années, se nourrissant de taux d’intérêt bas favorisant le maintien sous perfusion de crédits à bas coût.
