France : le secteur bio est-il condamné à renier ses principes ?

L’industrie agroalimentaire fait face à de nombreux défis en Europe dont celui, central, de la répartition de la valeur créée.  Pour y répondre et réfléchir à la nécessité de garantir une alimentation saine, sûre et durable, le gouvernement français a organisé du 20 juillet au 30 novembre 2017 les États généraux de l’alimentation. Le développement du secteur de la production agricole d’origine biologique semble être l’une des pistes privilégiées, tant le marché est en pleine expansion en France et dans le monde. La France est ainsi le troisième marché mondial du bio (5,9 milliards d’euros  en 2015, soit 7 % du marché total ; Coface estime qu’il atteindra environ 8 milliards en 2017), derrière les États-Unis (40 milliards en 2015, soit plus de 40 % du total) et l’Allemagne (11 %) et juste devant la Chine, le Canada et les autres principales économies européennes.
